Four weeks have passed since Jonas Aarseth Henriksen was killed. The police have still not arrested anyone. Therefore, it may be important to find out who removed the padlock. The 30-year-old was probably killed early in the day on 17 August. During this time, a cabin owner and a lorry driver drove past the crime scene. The police have summoned the witnesses for questioning. Topics for the interrogations have included what they saw on the forest roads, as well as a barrier that leads into the crime scene. INVESTIGATED: The boom pictured after the murder on 17 August. Photo: news news has been in contact with several of the witnesses. A cottage owner drove past the crime scene twice on what is probably the day of the murder. – At 11.15 I drove out to meet a lorry driver who was bringing gravel. I had an agreement to meet him at 11.30, and he was ten minutes late, says the cabin owner. Waited at the barrier on the day of the murder The cabin owner waited for 20 minutes at the barrier, and switched off the engine of the car because she was early. – It was completely quiet, and I was completely unaware of what was happening. But in retrospect, it’s disgusting to think that I was out there alone. I think we have been quite close in time, says the cabin owner. The lorry driver met the cabin owner at the crossing at the barrier. It is just over 500 meters away from the crime scene and was still without a padlock on 17 August. Those who have cabins inside the barrier had at this point questioned where the lock was for over a day. The cabin owner (H), whom news has been in contact with, shows the messages she sent with a neighbor (N) the day before the murder. This is a reproduction of the messages they sent: 16 AUG., 07:38HHytteeier: Hello. Arne drove out now and said the lock to the barrier was gone. Was it there when you drove out yesterday? 16. AUG., 08:00 Neighbour: Yes. locked when I left (2pm, news note). The right way tooNNeighbour: Maybe someone has it in the car and is just going to stop by for a short tripHHytte owner: Could happen 😀NNeighbour: I really hope so 🥰 The lock has therefore disappeared between 2pm on 15th August and 7.30am on 16th August. The police confirm that they have carried out investigations around the barrier. Police attorney Tine Henriksen in the South-East police district. Photo: Jon P Petrusson / news – If there are people who have information about that boom in the time period that we think is relevant, then we are clearly interested in it, says police attorney Tine Henriksen to news. The police want information and observations of people or vehicles in the period from Monday 14 August to Thursday 17 August in the area. Jonas Aarseth Henriksen sent a screenshot to a friend about his whereabouts at 08:49. AT 08.49: The screenshot Jonas Aarseth Henriksen is said to have sent the day he was killed. Photo: PRIVATE The friend did not get an answer from Jonas after this, and became worried. Eventually he and several others went to the place. There they found Jonas Aarseth Henriksen dead at 5pm. KILLED: Jonas Aarseth Henriksen from Hønefoss was 30 years old. Photo: Øistein Solli / news Drove several times past the crime scene Almost six hours earlier, at 11.15 this morning, the cabin owner drove out to the barrier to meet the lorry driver who came with gravel. The boom lock was still missing. Neither the cabin owner nor the lorry driver had any idea what had happened at the cabin 200 meters away from the road. SITE FOR INVESTIGATIONS: This is the view from the road on the other side of the pond. Photo: Sverre Holm-Nilsen / news After waiting until 11.40 for the lorry driver, she guided him onto the dirt road. None of them saw or heard anything. To the right of the road when they drive back, is the crime scene. – I looked neither to the right nor to the left. I had a big car and had enough to keep up with her, says the lorry driver. NEAR: The road that runs on the other side is only 200 meters away from the cabin and has a view of the flat where the police have carried out several investigations into the murder case. Photo: Stian Lysberg Solum / NTB He didn’t see anything on the way out of the cabin either. Pictured by satellite It is not known how the person or persons who killed the 30-year-old got in and out of the crime scene. – In the worst case, she I delivered gravel to could have hit these fools. When they are able to do that with Jonas, it is terrifying to think what they could do if they met her. There is not a road where there is room for two cars next to each other, he says. At 12.26 a satellite takes a picture of the area, 700 kilometers from the Earth’s surface. In the picture you can see both Jonas Aarseth Henriksen’s car and the lorry which is probably on its way out again after delivering the gravel to the cabin owner. The screenshot of where Jonas Aarseth Henriksen’s mobile is located was taken at 08:49. Three hours and 37 minutes later, the car and trailer are facing away from the cabin, about 100 meters away from where the mobile phone appears to have been just before 9 o’clock. The winding forest road is the only way to get to and from the small log cabin. A key part of the police investigation will be to find out why the car was in this way. Different hypotheses about escape When asked how a perpetrator might have got away from the area, the police say they are working on several theories. – We have made various assessments on it and are working on the basis of various hypotheses, but I cannot give a more concrete answer, says Henriksen. Almost a month after the murder, the police have still cordoned off the crime scene. The reason is that new things are constantly appearing that need to be checked, explains the police attorney. – When we consider ourselves finished with investigations where the deceased was found, it is new investigative steps that mean we see reason to carry out new investigations, says Henriksen.
