He tells the newspaper that they had a technical error which meant that customers in several banks could not make payments in mobile, online banking or Vipps. Tietoevry is a subcontractor for services for a number of Norwegian banks. At 2.33 pm, Geir Remman in TietoEvry informs Stavanger Aftenblad that the error has been corrected. – Payment by card works on the reverse solution when shopping in a store. We have deployed all necessary resources and are now working to correct the error, says Remman. – We apologize for the inconvenience this causes for our customers, he says. Vipps confirms to NTB that they have had problems with transfers between bank accounts, but that it has now been resolved. – It has stabilized on our side, and we no longer have problems now, says communications manager at Vipps, Caroline Lunde.
