Big scorer Bård Finne stepped up, but knocked the ball into the metal. After 67 minutes, Anton Skipper was sent off when he received his second yellow card. A shot attempt from Frederik Børsting went via Bjørn Inge Utvik and into Skipper’s arm. Brann thus received another penalty kick, and this time Sivert Heltne Nilsen was safe. It was the match’s only goal. Sarpsborg came to the match with seven scores and zero goals conceded in their last two league matches.
