This is in addition to the burden caused by bullying from other athletes. The system that is set up to protect against precisely this allows itself to be influenced to contribute to bullying, rather than the opposite. This cannot continue. Narve deserves better, says Svela to the newspaper. The boost comes after it became clear that Jakob Ingebrigtsen will bring his brother Filip Ingebrigtsen to the Olympics in Paris. Nordås and Svela are coached by the brothers’ father, Gjert Ingebrigtsen, who did not receive accreditation for the Olympics.
