Météo-France placed, Saturday March 15, three departments in the north of the Massif Central-La Creuse, L’Allier and Puy-de-Dôme-in orange alert for risks of snow and ice, due to a “Significant snowy episode that can cause traffic difficulties”.

“In the morning, snowfall will become more and more marked on Creuse and Puy-de-Dôme and Allier”mentions the weather bulletin on Friday at 4 p.m.

A layer ranging from “2 to 5 centimeters”that can go up to “10 centimeters” Locally, is expected in the plain. Above 400 meters above sea level, it can be between 10 and 15 centimeters.

Orange vigilance began on Saturday at 6 am and is due to end in the night or morning on Sunday.
