In a statement, the National Audit Office wrote that they had not found conditions that indicated that the company had disposed of its funds in violation of administrative rules with implications for financial management in the state. The Auditor General’s communications manager Siri Bentserud Wingerei tells news that they will now look at the audit again. – The fundamental question here is what is in the NSM’s calculations, says Wingerei. – As soon as we became aware of this case yesterday, we sat down to go through the audit carried out by NSM. The National Audit Office is now in dialogue with the Ministry of Justice to get an overview of all the facts in the case, says Wingerei. She further says that the National Audit Office aims to make a further comment when the quality assurance is finished, next week.
