31 July 2024 at 18:06 Foreign Ministry tightens the travel advice for Venezuela The Ministry of Foreign Affairs extends the travel advice for Venezuela to apply to the whole country and says the situation after the elections in the country is tense. Until now, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has advised against all non-essential travel to the border areas of Colombia and Brazil, the Arco Minero region, northern and eastern parts of the state of Sucre (incl. the Paria Peninsula) and the Paraguaná Peninsula in the state of Falcón. Demonstrations have been announced in Caracas and other parts of the country in the future.
