Neither the Government Attorney nor the Ministry of Defense wishes to comment on what the lawsuit is based on to the newspaper. The frigate KNM “Helge Ingstad” collided with the tanker “Sola TS” in 2018. No one was killed, but the frigate worth over NOK 4 billion was totally damaged. The warden on the frigate has been sentenced to a 60-day suspended prison sentence for negligence.
