The man in his 30s fell into the waterfall in the far north of Gudbrandsdalen late on Wednesday evening. The waterfall has a drop of 81 metres. After an extensive and demanding search operation throughout the night, the man has now been found dead. – He was with several people when he fell. Police and volunteer rescue teams searched for the man last night, and it was the police drone pilot who found the man, says chief of staff in the Innlandet police district, Pål Erik Teigen. The man was found at 08.21 on Thursday morning. – He was found in Pollvannet, approximately 900 meters below where he was last seen, says Teigen.
