They want a Norwegianization of the name of the dish which has become so popular in Norway over the years. – We already pronounce it in a Norwegian way and should be able to write it in a Norwegian way, says department director from Våle in Vestfold, Daniel Ims in the Language Council to TV 2. They have now sent this and several other proposals for linguistic changes for consultation. The list also includes “kava” instead of “cava” and “campus” instead of “campus”. (© NTB)
