This is reported by state Iranian media on Monday evening. Air traffic at Erbil was stopped after explosions were heard in the city, three Iraqi security sources told the Reuters news agency. Last week, an armed drone was shot down at a base where US forces are stationed at Erbil airport. The Islamic Resistance in Iraq group, which includes several Iran-linked militias, said it was behind a drone attack on the base. (NTB/news)
