The countdown has already begun. If you are thinking of changing your  iPhone  or you simply want to follow closely the latest news from the Cupertino company, there is a date that deserves to be on your calendar.

Apple has just sent the invitations for its next  Keynote . It will take place on  September 9 at 10:00 AM  Pacific Time (7:00 PM Spanish peninsular time) and, as every year, it can be followed live through streaming.

What to Expect at the Apple Event on September 9

Everything indicates that we will witness the traditional renewal of the  iPhone  family. The big question is what the star of this year will be. According to numerous  rumors  and  leaks , the spotlight will likely shine on the anticipated  iPhone 17 Air .

This device, as its name suggests, aims to become  one of the lightest and thinnest smartphones  on the market. It is expected to arrive with a premium finish, typically crafted from  aluminum  and  glass .

As mentioned earlier, this device will not arrive alone; it will be accompanied by the latest versions of the company’s flagship models, including the  iPhone 17 ,  iPhone 17 Pro , and  iPhone 17 Max .

The absence of a Plus model may draw attention. Current speculation suggests that the  iPhone 17 Air will take its place , albeit with a new strategy that could enhance sales prospects.

Furthermore, the autumn event may present updates in the accessory line, highlighting potential new  Apple Watch  models and possibly an upgraded version of the  AirPods .

In addition to the new hardware, the event is expected to unveil the  final versions of iOS 16 ,  iPadOS 16 ,  macOS 16 ,  tvOS 16 , and  watchOS 16 . These versions are currently available in  Beta  testing.

Apple is known for keeping its announcements under wraps; however, invitations often contain cryptic messages that offer insight into what we can anticipate. In this instance, the invitation features the phrase “AWE Dropping.”

This wordplay appears to echo the expression “Jaw-Dropping,” signifying that Apple promises announcements that could leave us  speechless .
