12 January 2023 at 18:55 Norwegian Directorate of Education: The internet is closed during exams due to artificial intelligence The internet is closed for students in seven different preparatory program subjects where it has previously been open during exams at upper secondary school. This is partly due to the much talked about ChatGPT. This is reported by Aftenposten. “New technology challenges, but can also make it possible to learn in new ways. It is important that we do not back down when we get access to new technology in school. We must rather work to understand the technology and for children and young people to use it in sensible ways”, writes State Secretary Sindre Lysø in an e-mail to the newspaper.
