The newspaper writes that the Israeli military is now working to identify them and extract them, but that it will take several hours. Hamas and the Islamic Holy War (Jihad) abducted around 250 Israelis and foreigners during the attack on October 7 last year. Around 1,200, mostly civilians, were killed in the attack. The IDF estimates that around 100 people are still being held hostage in the Gaza Strip. (© NTB)
