But this autumn, the negotiations have been very tough. LO has been firmly determined that the sick pay scheme will be preserved for four new years. NHO will not agree to that. They want a reprieve of 18 months, in exchange for all parts of the sick pay scheme being sorted out. The sick pay scheme ensures that people get paid when they are sick and away from work.
