Since May 2nd, screenwriters have been on strike in Hollywood, but now it looks like they may soon go back to work. Their union (WGA) and the Hollywood studios have agreed to a tentative deal. It is the union and the studios that together confirm the agreement that will probably end the strike. But the agreement must first be approved by the board and the members of the WGA. The Writers Guild of America (WGA) has 11,500 members. The strike has led to postponements of all productions, including cinema films such as “Dune 2” and series such as “Stranger Things” and “Euphoria”.
