A week ago, Aftenposten reported that employees in the supervisory authority had sent a notice about working conditions to the Ministry of Labor and Inclusion. – Although I generally do not recognize myself in the descriptions of the Norwegian Labor Inspection Authority given in the notice and the media, for the sake of all managers and employees I will now resign so that the agency can hopefully have peace of mind to concentrate on the important societal mission that the agency have, writes Vollheim in the press release. Ronny Jørgenvåg is now acting director. – We take the notice seriously, and it is important for us to help shed light on the matter as best we can and contribute to an orderly process going forward. Until the ministry has given its feedback, we cannot comment further on the matter, says Jørgenvåg.
