Now the government wants to change the law to introduce an absolute age limit of 15 years on social media, and promises that they will enforce the law much more strictly than today. This is how they want to do it: When you become a user of social media today, you must consent to them being able to collect your personal data. The Personal Data Act currently states that you must be 13 years old to be able to consent to this. The government is now proposing to amend this law, so that it should state 15 years.
