Both Telenor and Telia, the largest mobile companies in Norway, are noticing a growing interest. They believe that ESIM will be the usual option when new mobiles come without the possibility of inserting a physical SIM card, so-called “ESIM Only” devices. What is ESIM? ESIM (Embedded SIM) is a built-in, electronic SIM card. With ESIM, you do not need to insert a physical SIM card into your mobile, tablet or smart watch.
