“My client is of course clear that video filming in itself is a breach of the applicable rules of conduct, but in this situation he is happy that this was carried out.” This is revealed in the complaint that was sent to the Norwegian Health Authority after the doctor was stripped of his medical authorization in June. news has been given access to the document. The police have found several hard drives at the doctor’s home, which contain 6,000 hours of video material. The hard drives must have been marked with the date and year. The first recordings are from 2016 and the last from 2021. The abuse allegations against the doctor stretch back to the end of the 90s. So a period of over 20 years. The doctor pleads not guilty. And there is nothing to prevent the patient himself from accepting that only the doctor is present.” they write further. In the complaint, they also strongly criticize the way a number of bodies have handled the case. Charged with 34 rapes It was in August last year that the police started an investigation into the former municipal superintendent.
