– We have been told that there are no people in the building, says duty manager Frode Aas at the fire center Brann Innlandet. He states that 8-10 of their cars are on site, and that more are on the way. Crews from a total of 4 fire stations have moved out. The entire industrial area is now cordoned off. – We don’t know much about the risk of spreading yet, but based on the location of this building, there could probably be a risk of it, Aas stated earlier in the evening. At 19.32 the fire service reports that they have the fire under control. It does not burn in the silo itself. The emergency services have responded to the severe fire. Frode Aas says that the Norwegian Civil Defense has been put on standby in the event that additional extinguishing water from the nearby river is needed. The Civil Defense can also be responsible for the delivery of food and drink in the event that the extinguishing work takes a long time. Fiskå Mølle Flisa supplies working capital to agriculture in the Inner East region. The company produces kraft feed and has grain reception.
