He needs help, says the father. – He has made a mistake, he must be punished. It hurts me that he is in prison, but rules are rules. We all have to follow the same rules here in Norway, he says about the fact that his son is now in custody. The 18-year-old has admitted that he hit the man in his 50s. The 18-year-old’s defender, lawyer Tom Barth-Hofstad, has been presented with the statements of the accused’s father.
