18 January 2024 at 17:20 The Court of Appeal bans the MC club Satudarah – members can be punished for participation This is revealed in a recent ruling from the Court of Appeal. The Court of Appeal considers that a ban is necessary to prevent serious crime. “Overall, and seen in the light of the fear capital Satudarah has in Norway and internationally, and the need to combat serious crime, the Court of Appeal believes that the ban is necessary in a democratic society,” the ruling states. The public prosecutor and the police took the case to court to ban the club, which they believe has the main purpose of carrying out crime. However, the Oslo District Court decided in May that the MC club could still be allowed in Norway. The district court emphasized that the club has not existed for long, and does not appear to be well established. This was appealed, and the Court of Appeal therefore considers the case differently. In June, Satudarah claimed that they were closing down operations in Norway.
