It’s probably only a matter of days, says Anne Kirkhusmo, press officer at Bane Nor. The Blix tunnel on Follobanen was closed on Thursday due to water leaks from the roof. One of the two runs in the tunnel has been fully repaired, and was opened to traffic last night. Bane Nor began work on inspecting the second tunnel last night. – Where we uncover leakage points, we first divert the water away with fiberglass sheets, so that the water ran down the walls instead. At the same time, we correct any errors we uncover on the power cable, says Kirkhusmo. This is a temporary solution to be able to open both races to traffic as quickly as possible. After that, the leaks must be properly sealed with sealant. – There is something we can do at night or this summer, so that it will not affect the traffic, says Kirkhusmo.
