25 July 2023 at 02:38 The bow rig from Estonia has been retrieved from the sea The twelve-tonne bow rig from Estonia has been recovered. It could be important in finding out why the passenger ferry sank in 1994. Originally, the ship part was to be picked up around lunchtime on Monday, but the work was postponed because it had to be excavated further to prevent it from being destroyed. By 2 o’clock on Tuesday night, however, the bow ramp had been recovered, reports the news agency TT. It will now be transported to Estonia for examinations. (NTB)
