On Sunday evening, all emergency services responded to reports that a motorcyclist had driven off the road in Storfjord municipality in Troms. The police are on the scene and are interviewing people who saw the incident, operations manager in the Troms police district, Karl Erik Thomassen, told news shortly before 9pm on Sunday evening. Europavei 6 was completely closed for a period as a result of the accident, but is now open in one lane, the Norwegian Road Administration informs. It is currently unknown how long it will take before both lanes are opened. The police state that there is no suspicion of intoxication or high speed.
