Sweden’s new national security adviser Tobias Thyberg quits after a few hours in the job, writes Dagens Nyheter newspaper. The diplomat, which has been ambassador in Ukraine and Afghanistan, among other things, was appointed by the Swedish government on Thursday. After the newspaper asked several questions about sensitive images of Thyberg on a dating site, the message from the government is that he ends with immediate effect, the newspaper writes. Thyberg should have replaced Henrik Landerholm who had to retire earlier this year after forgotting secretly stamped documents in a hotel.
