9 May 2023 at 10:53 Suspicion that the kindergarten fire was arson – One of the hypotheses the police are working on is that the fire was arson, says prosecutor Kamilla Sandvik Forsdahl, according to a press release. It was early on Tuesday morning that the emergency services responded to a fire at two nurseries in the area of Ullevål Hospital. Both nurseries are out of business as a result of the fire. They have launched an investigation into the matter. – The police take the case very seriously and are investigating extensively, the press release states. They further write that it is too early to say whether the fire is connected to other recent fires in the capital. The police are appealing for tips in the case. They ask the public to contact them if they have seen anything near the nursery during the night or early in the morning.
