The allegedly planned attack is described as possible terrorism, according to the newspaper. The police have also arrested another person in their late teens who is suspected of being connected to the case. It is unclear what role the person in question is believed to have. The elder is accused by the police of having sworn allegiance to the terrorist organization IS. The Kronen Zeitung newspaper on Wednesday evening quoted an unnamed source on the information about what the man is suspected of. The tip must have come from foreign security authorities. According to the newspaper Kurier, which quotes unnamed police sources, three suspects are still wanted. – We have to “shake it off” – It’s no fun after all. I’d rather not have to think about it, says Helen Anker to news. She and her group of friends are in Vienna, and are scheduled to go to a concert tomorrow. Helen Anker and her friends won’t let this stop them from enjoying the Taylor Swift concert tomorrow. Photo: Privat Although the news of planned terrorist attacks has put a slight damper on the build-up to the concert, it does not prevent the gang from going. – I think that when we stand there tomorrow for three and a half hours, we won’t think about it. Rather, Anker chooses to take this as a sign that the security forces are on board and following along. – We have to “shake it off”, to quote Taylor, adds Anker. Local police say they are going to beef up security for the upcoming Taylor Swift concerts at Ernst Happen Stadium, which are scheduled for Thursday, Friday and Saturday. 65,000 visitors are expected at each of the concerts. Before the incident, it was announced that a total of 200 uniformed police officers and security guards would be present at the concert. Now the police have stated that security will be stepped up even more. The police’s special forces have been called in to further secure the concerts. Major evacuation The Heute newspaper reports that the 19-year-old’s house is currently being searched by the police, on suspicion of explosives. A number of items, including chemical substances, have been seized.
