Bodø/Glimt meet Røde Stjerne at home at Aspmyra on Tuesday evening. If they win a total of two matches, the group stage awaits in the Mesterligaen, club football’s most prestigious football tournament. It is therefore important for the opponent as well, and hundreds of Serbs have made the trip to Bodø to follow the away game. But not everyone makes it to Aspmyra: In what the police say was an attempt to secure food, one of the Serbs ended up in a fight with both the police and a fast food employee. The police carried out investigations outside the fast food restaurant after the arrest. The person speaking to the police is a journalist. Operations leader at the scene, Rolf Kristian Jensen, says he then allegedly tried to get hold of food – without the staff wanting it. – As we understand it, he must have tried to cook his own food, and was therefore confronted. Rolf Kristian Jensen says the police in Nordland are well prepared for all the supporters from Serbia. No one was injured in connection with the incident. – The person is in custody. As it now appears, he has done this alone. Blend Horori, chairman of Annas Gatekjøkken, believes the supporter used their back entrance as a hiding place. Several of the Serbian supporters had made the trip to the center of Bodø to recharge before the match. Photo: Sofie Retterstøl Olaisen / news Contributed to the arrest – A drunk Røde Stjerne supporter had knocked down a person in a car a little further up the street here. He ran past here, with the police after him, says Blend Horori to news. At the same time, Horori’s brother, who also works at Gatekjøkkenet, had a small breather at the back of the kitchen. Thus, the supporter saw his average. – He tried to run into the kitchen at the back. When my brother said he couldn’t come in, he hit after him. Blend Horori says they have had several supporters from Serbia visit, and that the vast majority have been nice. The supporter had been spotted by the police, and thus ran out of the kitchen again. Then Blend Horori also got a role in the hunt. – I put him on the ground together with a policeman. I wasn’t afraid. This is just normal community service. The police in Nordland tell news that they have also assisted in connection with disturbances at Hundholmen in the center of Bodø. The takeaway’s staff have experienced the vast majority of Serbian supporters as calm and polite customers. – There are 500 supporters here today. It is only this supporter that we have experienced as problematic. Horori’s brother later described the situation as not dramatic. After the battle from the Serb, he had a cup of coffee, says Horori.
