Student to hospital after landing on knife in tjukkas – Greater Oslo

– It is a boy between the ages of 14 and 15 who landed on the knife. The student has been taken to Ullevål hospital, says operations manager in the East police district Ronny Samuelsen. The police received a report about the incident on Monday morning. – The message was that there had been an incident in gym class at school. A student had received a knife in the upper body, and as we interpret it, someone had placed this knife in a box that the student had jumped on, says Samuelsen to VG. The student is said to have been stabbed in the back, and there was a lot of blood at the scene. – It is an incredibly ugly thing. Whether this is someone trying to target someone specifically, or whether it is an incredibly ill-thought-out act, is difficult to say, says section leader for the neighborhood police Marius Gunnerud to Østlandets Blad. So far no suspects The police tell news that they currently have no suspicions about who placed the knife in the safe. The student’s state of health is currently unknown. – We are investigating the matter further and view the incident as serious. We will carry out further investigations and possible interrogations in the case, says the operations manager. WILL BE OPEN: Siggerud school will be open tomorrow, and the students will be monitored throughout the school day. Photo: Cornelius Poppe / NTB Close follow-up of the pupils The management at Siggerud school tells news that they do not want to comment on the case, but the municipal director in Nordre Follo, Øyvind Henriksen, says that the pupils will be closely followed up after the incident. – The school has been available to the pupils for conversations and follow-up. The same applies to the employees, he says. The school will also have health nurses available from 8 o’clock on Tuesday morning. – The school will of course be open tomorrow anyway, because the students will certainly need to get together. The most important thing will of course be to follow up those who are affected, and give the necessary support to the students who need it, and then we will see how it affects the teaching.
