According to the state, Stordalen allegedly took advantage of a tax benefit he was not entitled to, via the holding company Strawberry. Petter Stordalen bought the holding company Strawberry Fields in 2013. Since then and until 2021, Stordalen has taken out over 800 million in tax-free dividends from the company, writes E24. The tax authorities demand repayment of over NOK 200 million. The billionaire apologizes for breaking the tax rules. According to the court schedule, Stordalen must give his statement on Tuesday afternoon. Stordalen will not comment in the media, according to TV2.
