Stopped car driver with poor visibility out of the windscreen – news Troms and Finnmark

29 December 2023 at 05:22 Stopped a driver with poor visibility out of the windscreen On the night of Friday, the police in Tromsø stopped a driver who was driving with almost no view out of the windscreen in a densely built-up area. – A picture was taken of the windscreen and a case was opened. We have temporarily seized the driver’s license of the person concerned, says operations manager Morten Augensen in the Troms police district to news. It was entirely by chance that the police came across the driver, who is taking the case very seriously. – This is very dangerous. When you don’t look out of the windscreen, it goes without saying. It can be pedestrians, other cars, downhills. Anything can happen, says the operations manager. The police say they see such cases a little too often. – Unfortunately, it has happened a number of times, says Augensen. The police encourage people to take the time to ensure a clear view before driving off. – Take the weather and driving conditions into account. It’s slippery outside, scrape off the windows and have a good view when you go out for a drive, says Augensen.
