The police believe three people cooperated in the theft. Two women are said to have supported an employee in the store, while a third male helper snuck into the back room and stole a large number of iPhone 15s that were in an open safe. The safe was open because the employee had to show the women a phone. Investigating the theft The police are now investigating the theft. The police state that the three spoke broken English and that the theft appears to have been well planned and carried out. – It turns out that it is a matter of theft of values ​​for approx. NOK 400,000. We have conducted interviews and are obtaining video surveillance, says police lawyer Julie Dalsveen. The police are now working on identifying the perpetrators. Taking the matter seriously Telia Norge confirms to news that their store in Hamar was subjected to theft and that it appears to have been carried out by professional criminals. – We take the incident very seriously and the case is now under investigation by the police. Furthermore, the employees receive follow-up after the incident, says information manager Daniel Barhom. He says that Telia works continuously to prevent theft in its stores, both through employee training and security measures.
