The review is continuously updated during transmission … Now we are almost at the finish line! Tonight we will be served the semi-finals in the autumn’s Star Match, and only Mari Bella (19), Odd René Andersen (55) and Aleksander With (36) remain in the competition. Mari Bella and Odd René are the very best vocalists, while Aleksander has impressed the audience with his versatility and impressive interpretations throughout the autumn. Tonight, the three remaining hopefuls will compete in musicals, a genre I suspect suits all three relatively well. Mari Bella has been called a Disney vocalist throughout the season, while Odd René is a stage-accustomed veteran who seems to have a good handle on conveying roles. I’ve also learned never to write Aleksander off – he’s impressed in almost every genre, and it wouldn’t surprise me if he does so tonight as well. It’s not just the musical genre that the participants will try their hand at this evening – resident expert Christine Dancke has also put together a secret task. Here the gang will interpret three Norwegian pop songs from recent times. For confidentiality reasons, I choose not to reveal too much here, but it will probably be particularly tough for Odd René! I still predict him a comfortable final place, but will it be against Mari Bella or Aleksander With? We will find out immediately, when the participants go on stage for tonight’s Star Match!
