After a tough round on the rock floor last Saturday, it was EHI who had to wave goodbye to Stjernekamp – a rather strict fate in my eyes. Tonight, the nine remaining participants will compete in Norwegian music, and all genres are welcome! Only one of the songs is from before 2010, namely Odd René Andersen’s choice “To Fulle Menn” (1987) by Jokke & Valentinerne. Mia Gundersen has also made a strong choice in Gabrielle’s immortal “Five Fine Misses”, and shows once again that she does not go about it particularly safely and squeamishly in this competition. Adrian Sellevoll will interpret Cezinando’s gem “Håper Du Har Plass”, an artist who should dress considerably better than Rage Against the Machine did last weekend. Mari Bella, who in the rock show delivered a Queen interpretation on par with the best I’ve seen in “Stjernekamp” ever, will tonight be bracing herself on “Hjerteknuser” by Kaizer’s Orchestra – a song with considerably less drop. Whom som ryker out tonight is hard to predict, but I wonder if it’s starting to shake things up for Alexander With. He has so far had very safe song choices, bordering on boring, and really needs to start biting off a bit to survive. Tonight he has landed on Ramón’s “Men Like Me”, his clearly most offensive choice so far. Follow along from 19.55, this will be exciting!
