Stjernekamp 2023 final – November 4 – Reviews and recommendations

The review is continuously updated during transmission .. Now it applies! Odd-René Andersen and Mari Bella will go head-to-head in the battle to become the winner of the autumn season of Stjernekamp. As we know, it can really speed up any career, and in that sense we have to say that it is probably Mari Bella who needs this victory the most – after all, Odd René has been at it for over 30 years already. It has also given him a great advantage in this competition, so it is in no way a surprise that it is exactly him who is standing here tonight. It is even more surprising that Mari Bella is standing here, an artist who was not even considered when Odd René dominated stages all over the country. She has equally impressed both experts and viewers with a sparkling vocal technique, and has proven to be a very versatile and adaptable singer. Therefore, it is definitely deserved that it is she who will compete with the old ring fox from Fredrikstad tonight. The final is in three parts and opens with a duet, in which the old Stjernekamp favorites Ingeborg Walther and Adam Douglas will contribute. The artists will then present themselves with a self-composed song before it all ends with their final song. This is getting nerve wracking! Duet with a former Stjernekamp artist: 1. Mari Bella with Ingeborg Walther: “Säg mig var du står” By Zara Larsson and Carola (2020) Photo: Julia Marie Naglestad/news Mari Bella goes hard with her own idol Zara Larsson, but the question is whether Carola is Ingeborg Walther’s idol? It is also far from Jæren to Stockholm, so here a wise choice has been made with the translation into Norwegian. In any case, the song is in the middle of the crossroad as far as Mari Bella’s genre is concerned. Bella immediately seems to have her nerves under control, no disadvantage in a final. Here the vibrato and the impeccable control are in full swing, and the key seems to be perfect for both Mari and Ingeborg. This is effortless and playful, at least in the singing technique. The presence on stage is perhaps a bit stiff and even boring, but the chemistry and language between Mari and Ingeborg is exactly where it should be. They master both the energetic and the soft, and that is what is needed in a final. Brilliant! 2.
