1 July 2023 at 23:40 Rockfall blocks the E6 in Nordland A rockfall has crossed the E6 just east of the Trengsel bridge in Sørfold in Nordland, according to the Road Traffic Center. Both the Daumannsvik tunnel and the Tennflåg tunnel are closed. E6 is the only road connection between Fauske and Narvik, and it is not possible to detour. Currently, the Norwegian Road Administration estimates that the E6 will be closed until 11 a.m. Sunday when a new assessment will be made.
