25 November 2022 at 11:11 FHI: The spread of infection has leveled off The spread of infection and the number of new hospitalizations due to covid-19 have leveled off after several weeks of increase. This is what FHI writes in its weekly report for covid 19, influenza and other respiratory infections. Nevertheless, FHI believes that the situation is predictable. An increase in the epidemic cannot be ruled out again with new virus variants which now make up the majority of new cases. FHI writes that the viruses themselves are not expected to cause more serious illness. The incidence of influenza cases and hospitalizations with influenza is increasing, but still low. The number and proportion of detections of RS virus is increasing, especially in children under 5 years of age.
