26 June 2024 at 12:22 Speed glider in rock wall on Voss – man is flown to hospital The emergency services have responded to an air sports accident where a speed glider has hit a rock wall on Voss. The person, a man in his 20s, is conscious. At 1.35pm the police report that the person has been taken out of the mountain. The person will be flown by air ambulance to Haukeland hospital, according to the report. The air ambulance arrived at the scene, and a rescuer and a doctor were sent down to the person. The SAR Queen helicopter was called to get the person down from the mountain. – The person will be in the mountains, so we have to work a bit on coordinating how to get the person down, said operations manager in the West police district, Terje Magnussen at 12.30.
