– We are very much looking forward to recording next year’s season at the southern tip of Norway. That’s what producer of the Master of Masters Eirik Hamre says in Nordisk Banijay. They can now reveal that the Agder municipalities Lindesnes and Farsund will host season 15 of the popular program on news. Filming starts in June this year and will premiere in the new year 2024. – The area offers wild and beautiful nature with great contrasts, from chalk-white beaches to green hills. The finale of season 14 was recently broadcast on news. Olympic champion in rowing, Olaf Tufte, won there. The season was recorded in Sandefjord and Larvik. The previous two seasons took place in Sørlandet. In Arendal and Grimstad in 2021, and in Kristiansand and Lillesand in 2022. The production company is now in the process of finding areas for recording in Lindesnes and Farsund. But they won’t reveal exactly where it will be filmed until filming ends in June this year. Unsurprisingly, Mesternes mester is among news’s most popular programs and has been broadcast every year since 2009, with the exception of 2013. The series has drawn an average of 1.3 million Norwegians to the screen per episode in this year’s season. At their peak, they had a total of 1.5 million viewers. Last year, the series was nominated for the Gullruten for best competition-driven reality for the sixth time. – It is particularly gratifying that the stream metals in news TV this year are beyond all expectations, says news’s project editor for the Master of Masters, Pia Basberg.
