Snekkestad’s legal aid lawyer asks the police to call in Crown Princess Mette-Marit for questioning

– The evidence situation in the case is such that we believe it is only natural that we get her explanation now. I think it would actually be unnatural if she does not answer questions from the police, says lawyer Petter Grødem to Aftenposten, which discussed the case first. Grødem is legal counsel for Juliane Snekkestad. Marius Borg Høiby is charged with abuse in close relationships towards Snekkestad. He denies criminal guilt. – Why do you want to summon the crown princess for questioning? – Because something else appears unnatural as I see it, says Grødem to news. Assistance lawyer Petter Grødem. She does not want to comment on whether they want the police to question the crown princess. – On a general basis, people who have been in close contact with a suspect at a time just before he was arrested can have important information to provide, she says to news.
