The person was taken from the avalanche at 2 p.m., and several attempts have been made to retrieve the person. The skier is conscious, but is said to have suffered fractures. – Both the air ambulance and the rescue helicopter have tried, but the weather is too bad in the area, says Kileng. The skier was in a group of three, and is looked after by the other skiers on site. At 16:15 the police report that the rescue helicopter has managed to retrieve the injured skier. The person is transported to the University Hospital of Northern Norway.
