Six children, aged one to 16, are now on their way by plane from Egypt to Norway. The plane they are being transported on belongs to the Norwegian Armed Forces. These are the first patients from Gaza to come to Norway through medical evacuation. Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre says these are children who have experienced more than anything children should be exposed to. – I am happy that children from Gaza now come to Norway to receive treatment here. The children come from a hospital in Egypt, which has received many patients from Gaza. All patients have serious diagnoses that mean they need help from the specialist health service. The children travel with their relatives, a total of 20 people. Norwegian police have investigated the background of everyone who comes.
