Several local teams demand an investigation after the Giske election – news Trøndelag – Local news, TV and radio

– This is so serious that it should be investigated and reviewed to check whether a valid decision has been made, says deputy leader of Trondheim Arbeidersamfunn, Torbjørn Andre Barland Moe to Adresseavisen. Moe justifies the skepticism of the decision by, among other things, that the notice of the meeting was not clear enough. – The meeting was called in an addendum in a “Good summer email”, and the case papers were not available until a quarter past eleven on the same day, in addition there was a mess with the protocol from the board ahead of the meeting. That’s what Moe tells Dagsnytt 18. Trond Giske received a total of 104 votes against 68 votes for Karianne Tung in the battle for first place for Trondheim Ap. But who will end up at the top of the Storting list for the Labor Party in Sør-Trøndelag constituency has not yet been decided. The final decision will be made on 30 November. Then both the list for Trondheim Ap and the other municipal parties must be assessed. – Uses every trick in the book – You’re hitting a wide open door by saying that it’s a very divided team where trust is thin, and the frustration with Trond Giske’s power and, not least, methods comes to the fore. So says political commentator at news, Tone Sofie Aglen. Political commentator for news, Tone Sofie Aglen believes that Trond Giske’s critics are too poorly organised. Photo: Ole Kaland / news She believes Giske “as usual” has used every trick in the book to get a majority. – He got a solid majority, which I think surprised many. Aglen points out that Giske’s critics are not well enough organized and that it is therefore difficult for them to win. – A unifying candidate has not been put forward, it is not even known whether Karianne Tung wants to run. – This means that the critics go to the media and criticize him, while Giske himself withdraws and only wants to talk about politics. Kaos Moe describes that there was a lot of chaos and uncertainty around the rules for voting during the meeting on 15 August and believes that the process was not in the party’s style. – We are left after the meeting with a feeling that “this was not legitimate”. Johannesen / news According to Adressa, a total of seven local teams have now signed a letter in which questions are raised about the process leading up to and during the representative board meeting where Giske was nominated for first place. Giske himself believes that the conflict should be resolved internally. – Our members have unanimously adopted a value base which states that we handle organizational conflicts internally and I relate to that. The voters are concerned with what we are doing to create a good economy, a good school and care for the elderly for them and are tired of internal quarrels and noise, replies Trond Giske. news has tried to get a comment from the leader of the Trondheim Labor Party, Pål Sture Nilsen, but has so far not received a reply. A bulldozer – The reason why I went so far as to call Trond Giske a bulldozer in VG is because I want to speak out about a lack of culture in the Trondheim Labor Party, says Moe. He believes that there are disorderly processes that weaken party democracy and create division within the party. – Giske is a divisive politician who goes to great lengths to get his way. Now Moe demands that the case be investigated by the control committees in both Trondheim and Trøndelag Labor Party. Published 28.08.2024, at 17.16 Updated 28.08.2024, at 19.59
