Several injured after serious collision on E14 in Meråker – news Norway – Overview of news from different parts of the country

The police were notified of the accident at 4.45pm on Sunday afternoon. – There are five people involved. The incident took place on a stretch at high speed and there is talk of a heavy collision, says police operations manager Stian Aalberg to news. Both cars were completely damaged after the collision which took place between Meråker center and Teveldalen in Trøndelag. Air ambulance and rescue helicopter were called in. Three people have been flown to St. Olav’s hospital in Trondheim, while the last two have been sent to hospital by ambulance. One of those involved was a child, but this is not among those seriously injured. E14 was closed for several hours after the accident, but reopened at 7pm on Sunday evening.
