Either we need more help from the cold, or we need to get a little more snow from the sky. That’s what Arnulf Erdal, general manager at Oppdal ski centre, says. Several energy-saving measures are underway, according to Hallebrant, and they have informed guests and cabin owners about how they can save electricity together. Marketing manager Veslemøy Eineteig at Alpinco is happy about the fresh snow on the slopes of Kvitfjell. So we are not affected by high electricity prices, but are careful not to engage in overconsumption. That’s what Veslemøy Eineteig says, who is happy about the fresh snow on the ground at Kvitfjell. – When nature also does its job, it is extra beautiful. Then it’s winter. Good season ticket sales Although there are tighter times for people’s finances, season tickets are going away. – Sales are exactly the same as last year, which was a record season at Geilo, says Kevin Eikrehagen. Nor in Hafjell and Kvitfjell do they notice an absence of people who want to buy season tickets. – Not yet. The foreigners and tourists are certainly present, says Eineteig, who believes that both the cabin people and others will use the facilities in the local area diligently this winter as well. SkiStar will not comment on how season ticket sales are progressing, and refers to the quarterly report that will be released in a month’s time. However, they say there has been great interest in buying discounted season tickets this autumn.
