St. Olav’s hospital in Trondheim and Volda hospital are affected by major network problems. This has led to the Helseplattformen, the much-discussed patient record system used by hospitals, being down in Helse Midt-Norge for a total of 90 minutes. – The situation is currently unclear, says Eiliv Flakne, director of communications and public relations at Helse Midt-Norge. Helse Midt-Norge is now working hard to find the cause behind the network problem, and what consequential errors it will cause. – So far there is nothing to indicate that there is anything wrong with the Health Platform itself, but that it could be due to a power outage at St. Olav in Trondheim, Flakne tells news just after 12 o’clock. The error should have first been reported in Volda , and later was located back in Trondheim. – Things happen minute by minute. We expect the system to be up again very soon.
