The New York Times reports. They are imprisoned at Guantanamo Bay and have been in US custody since 2003. All have agreed to a plea deal in exchange for a life sentence, rather than the death penalty. 2,976 people were killed when two planes hijacked by terrorists crashed into the World Trade Center in New York.
