7 November 2022 at 08:12 Sentenced to prison for threats against Bent Høie A man has been sentenced in Sør-Rogaland district court to prison for 120 days for death threats against former health minister Bent Høie. Completion of 75 days of the sentence is suspended with a probationary period of two years. Last year, the Stavanger man called both the Trøndelag police district and the ministries’ joint switchboard on two occasions and made threats against Høie. According to the indictment, he is said to have made several death threats. Among other things, the man is said to have said: “Høie will be killed within 24 hours” and “He will be shot in the neck”. One of the threats can also be interpreted as criticism of the former health minister and the handling of the pandemic.
